In the midst of the pandemic, 3D Bear had to take an eternal vacation (forever :'( ).
Stepping into the ring was ESTUM Jiu-Jitsu. They kicked out the MMA part and all that
remained were grappling Vikings who would make Chuck Norris jealous.
There was a lot of emphasis placed on the name ESTUM—although I can't quite remember its meaning anymore... Good job, Martin! Head Coach Priit Mihkelson wanted it to be Estonian, down-to-earth, and mysterious, much like runes. Of course, most of us probably wouldn't understand runic script, so we had to tweak it to give off that runic vibe while remaining readable. Runic script itself is already quite a fascinating pattern, hence the text encircling the logo. It's like a pattern, BUT not quite! The end result turned out really awesome in my opinion, and since the logo is still in use, I'd say the client must be happy too
ESTUM's logo is like a love letter specially crafted just for them. Unfortunately, at the time, we didn't think of making the entire font BUT hey, it's never too late. We also used a sleek and modern typeface as an additional font to enhance the ESTUM logo.
Let's be honest. This logo looks pretty badass—it's the kind that makes you think its wearer could hold their own in Valhalla. Because, let's face it, if Odin had a favorite T-shirt, this logo would be on it!
