In 2019, a pedicure salon was born and quickly became the go-to spot for women. Maybe it was because I handled the salon’s design, but it felt like every other picture on Instagram was of a girl flaunting her new pedicure from Wiil Beauty Salon.Was it the amazing designs, the top-notch service, or the Instagrammable ambiance? Who knows! But one thing's for sure—Wiil Beauty Salon had women showing off their toes like they were the latest fashion trend. If your feed wasn’t flooded with Wiil pedicures, were you even on Instagram?
A logo MUST look good in black and white. Sure, with today’s technology, colorful logos are everywhere. But if it doesn't shine in black and white, adding color is like putting makeup on a pig. It might look pretty, but it’s still a pig. For Wiil, we chose black and a soft pink.
Black, because it's as badass as the fierce ladies who go there, and pink to symbolize that touch of feminine elegance.
The logo for Wiil features a little stone because, well, they use A LOT of them. Seriously, Wiil must have cornered the market on stones!
We chose a very calm and feminine visual style that perfectly complements the rest of our design elements. It’s like a soothing spa day for your eyes!
But are you a fan yet? Wiil's T-shirts are strong enough to impress the guys but are actually designed for women. Or are they? I mean, who wouldn't rock a black T-shirt with a diamond on it? Even I'd wear that!
